Swine of the Month!

ChevronTexaco

ChevronTexaco is the only company in the United States who has named an oil tanker after a member of the Bush Administration. Condoleeza Rice served on Chevron's board of directors throughout the 1990s, working diligently to secure billions of dollars worth of valuable oil contracts in the former Soviet Republics. Her efforts landed her a seat on the Bush Cabinet in 2001 as National Security Advisor.

Chevron is also a proud supporter of Operation Iraqi Liberation (really, this is what Bush wanted to call the invasion in the beginning). The Bush administration has begun to show its gratitude for the millions of dollars in contributions to the Repubican Party and GWB's election campaign in the year 2000. In July of 2003, ChevronTexaco was chosen by the US appointed Iraqi oil ministry to export 650,000 barrels of oil a day from Iraq.

Do people invade oil rich countries and kill for profit? PEOPLE DO.
